What We Believe
The doctrines we hold and preach
Article 01
We believe the Bible — whole, verbally-inspired, infallible, and authoritative — is the very Word of God. We hold to and preach from the King James Bible, and we take it as the sole authority in the lives of believers, our final rule for faith and practice.
Article 02
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — the same in essence and equal in every divine perfection.
Article 03
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His personal, imminent, premillennial return.
Article 04
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who trust Christ, and gives the believer the assurance of heaven through the new birth.
Article 05
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone — in His shed blood and resurrection — and not of works, lest any man should boast.
Article 06
We believe that every true believer is kept by the power of God and possesses everlasting life — a salvation that cannot be lost.
Article 07
We believe the local church is composed of regenerated, immersed believers, led by pastors and deacons, gathered to worship God, edify one another, and proclaim the Gospel.
Article 08
We hold to believer’s baptism by immersion, the autonomy and congregational governance of the local church, the priesthood of all believers, and the separation of church and state.
Article 09
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all — the saved to everlasting life with God, and the lost to hell, a real place of eternal, conscious punishment.
Article 10
We are pro-life, believing life is sacred from conception; pro-family, upholding God’s design for marriage and the home; and pro-church, believing the local church is essential to the Christian life, not optional.
